Mylk Labs Bring Hazelnuts to the Breakfast Table
Are there many breakfast foods more classic than oatmeal? A bowl of hot oatmeal warms you on a cold morning and provides the energy and nutrition to start your day off right. The team at Mylk Labs knows how nutritious and wholesome a bowl of oatmeal can be, and that inspired them to start their own oatmeal company in 2017. One of the first products to be introduced: Roasted Hazelnut and Dominican Cacao Oatmeal Cups.
The hazelnuts are chopped into pieces and blended with a creamy almond and oat base. Then, the cacao powder harvested from the Dominican Republic is added to create a deep and creamy flavor combination. It is topped off with a sprinkle of unrefined, organic coconut sugar. Mylk Labs describes it as “the ultimate guilt-free indulgence with a Nutella-like flavor.”
Each cup is only 220 calories yet contains six grams of fiber and seven grams of protein. Mylk Labs uses more than 2,000 pounds of hazelnuts per year! That number may rise in the future, as they are currently testing new hazelnut recipes.
Roasted Hazelnut and Dominican Cacao Oatmeal Cups, as well as the other Mylk Labs oatmeal flavors and variety packs, are available via mylklabs.com, Amazon and select coffee shops and specialty grocery stores nationwide.
