The Hazelnut Marketing Board invites chefs to bring their culinary skills to the table with a signature Oregon hazelnut recipe. Not only do you help support independent growers, 88% of consumers see hazelnuts as a healthy option on the menu. Whether you embrace their natural sweetness in desserts or harness their toasted flavor for protein-centered entrees, Oregon hazelnuts are a win on any menu.
Submit your unique recipe and photo using the form below. Contest runs from January 1 – March 9, 2020. Entries will be scored on the following criteria: Creative use of Oregon hazelnuts (50%), and overall creativity (which includes three (3) factors: originality, appetite appeal and presentation) (50%). Entries must feature Oregon hazelnuts in the form of chopped, diced, sliced, whole, meal, flour, paste or butter. Hazelnut oil may be considered if used in addition to hazelnuts in other forms.
