Calling all chefs: the Hazelnut Marketing Board has a contest for you! Now through March 9, we are inviting chefs to create their own signature recipe that features Oregon hazelnuts. One (1) lucky winner will receive $3,000 and a recipe spotlight in the May issue of Flavor & the Menu.
Why enter (aside from a pretty sweet prize)? Now is the time to explore hazelnuts! Consumers are curious about hazelnuts, with 82% of those who have not tried hazelnuts noting they are interested in tasting them as-is, as an ingredient in a new product or added to existing products they enjoy.
